In October 2019 a special event was organised by the St Dunstan’s Horticultural Society in conjunction with ARCA. The event was very successful with many people attending a most stimulating illustrated talk by Adam Frost of BBC’s Gardeners’ World.

His talk explained his early life then progressed onto his experiences in garden design. He started his career working for the North Devon Parks Department and then moved to London to work as a landscaper. His big break came when he worked with Geoff Hamilton at Geoff’s garden in Barnsdale. In 2013 he was instrumental in setting up the Homebase Garden Academy and in 2014 became an RHS Ambassador. He is also an author and his book Real Gardens tells the journey of his award winning Chelsea gardens. Adam has won several gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show.
